Kat named FHM's "38th sexiest woman in the world"

Season 5 runner-up Katharine McPhee came in at #38 on FHM magazine's list of "100 Sexiest Women in the World 2008." Last year, Kat placed second, being beat out by actress Jessica Alba.

The blurb the magazine used to accompany Kat's photo was the following:

Season 5's American Idol runner-up, Katharine gave millions of guys a reason to tune into the hit show. In 2007, she returned with a sexier look and a self-titled debut album that sold over 100,000 copies in its first week.

The only other American Idol alum to make it on the list was Carrie Underwood, who placed #73.
