Jordin Sparks gave advice to the
Idol hopefuls in
an interview yesterday with
AZCentral.com. In the Q&A, Jordin gave pointers ranging from paperwork to listening to professional advice. Below is what Jordin had to say about the importance of song choice:
"Pick a song that you love and can sing. Sing a song that no one else would probably think of. Pick the best part of the song that will showcase your vocals - meaning if you don't have a huge voice, you don't have to sing a Whitney (Houston) song. And (add) personality. Remember, you need to grab the judges' attention in the first few seconds."
Auditions hit Glendale's Jobing.com Arena on Friday.
