Country's Queen Carrie Underwood continued her reign as top-selling Idol alum this past week as supported by her position on HITS Daily Double's Top 50 building album sales chart.Carrie's Play On stayed on course, dropping a mere six percent in sales to 11.4k copies. The disc was off four spots on the actual chart to #36, but it retained its title as sole Idol-related album on the chart. Play On is easily the best-selling album by an alum in the 2010 calendar year.
As per usual, Billboard will have official positions available for the Billboard 200 on Thursday.
