The latest Idol alum to sign on to another reality series is none other than Season 6's Sanjaya Malakar. It was only two years ago that he was sent packing from the show after weeks of controversy from the media at large, but Sanjaya apparently feels it is the right time to return to the small screen.
Access Hollywood reports that everyone's favorite fauxhawk-sporting Washington state resident will appear on NBC's I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, which is set to premiere on Mon., June 1. Other celebrities slated to star on the monthlong extravaganza are Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag of MTV's The Hills, Janice Dickinson and disgraced former governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich. Well it's good to know that Sanjaya will be in good company.
The premise of the show is that the unsuspecting celebs will be dropped in an undisclosed location (this time, the jungles of Costa Rica) and they will be challenged to make their way back to civilization. Sounds like an adventure!

Kelly's "I Do Not Hook Up" preparing for release
Coming right on the heels of her mega successful #1 hit "My Life Would Suck Without You," Kelly Clarkson's new single "I Do Not Hook Up" is just over one week away from going for ads at Top 40 radio. It will officially hit the airwaves on Tues., April 14, according to AllAccess, but is already starting to rocket up the chart. The cover, which was released this week via e-mail from Kelly's team, can be seen to the right.
On Thursday night, Kelly was featured on Access Hollywood on the set of filming the music video to go along with the single. Watch an extended clip of the video below:
Kelly yukked it up with host Billy Bush, discussing the specifics of the video and how she balanced critical acclimation with commercial appeal on All I Ever Wanted. Eventually the conversation turned into Kelly denying that she is a lesbian, which seems to be a common question that she has to deal with in these interviews.

Jordin talks with media post-Grammys
Jordin Sparks made the rounds today following her first Grammy Awards ceremony as a nominee. She talked with Phoenix's Johnjay & Rich from 104.7 KISS FM on their morning show, telling them she was psyched to meet Paul McCartney and Samuel L. Jackson and took pictures with them and that she loved Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus' performance of "Fifteen."
She also talked about how she got nervous before her category was announced, and how she got to try on T-Pain's famed top hat at the Sony-BMG post-Grammys party. Surprisingly, nothing came up on the topic of the Chris Brown scandal.
Jordin also talked with Access Hollywood on the red carpet, where she was bothered by Shaun Robinson about the Chris Brown story. Jordin remained upbeat and said she wished him the best and talked about how he was so comfortable to be around when they filmed the music video for "No Air."
Fantasia was also asked about Chris on the red carpet, and she was more willing to stick her neck out for him, telling Shaun "don't believe everything you hear."
