Flashback: Jessica Sierra's "On the Side of Angels"

Before she made headlines with a sex tape and extensive stint on Dr Drew's Celebrity Rehab, Jessica Sierra was a finalist on the fourth season of Idol. During Top 10 week, Jessica sang "On the Side of Angels" by LeAnn Rimes for "90s Week." Watch the performance below:

Despite a few strong performances up until this point, Jessica went home following this performance. Simon maintained that well she sang the song well, she was forgettable.

Nikki McKibbin drove son to school while drunk

Nikki McKibbin is no stranger to controversy, nor is she one to shy away from making headlines for all the wrong reasons. But the first season's third-place finalist and star of VH1's Celebrity Rehab and Sober House spoke with FOXNews.com's "Pop Tarts" section, to which she revealed the following:

"I was a horrible person when I drank. I was awful and really mean and really angry and I started fights with people for no reason, I was a bad mom and a bad wife," McKibbin told Tarts at the recent "American Idol" finale in Los Angeles. "I took care of my son when I was high and was driving to school drunk, I was just really bad off."

Nikki, who will be sober exactly one year on June 10, said she agreed to appear on Celebrity Rehab because she "had come to a point in my life where I knew I needed help, so when they called and gave me the opportunity I just took them up on it."

She also got in a word about Kelly Clarkson, whom she said has wanted nothing to do with her since Nikki showed up at one of her concerts high. The real point of this admission is probably to jump start sales of her new single, "Inconsolable," which is available to purchase on iTunes.

Keeping up with Nikki McKibbin

Nikki McKibbin, Idol's original red-haired rocker chick, has recently kept busy on the reality TV circuit, ending up right back where her career started.

Nikki's run on VH1's Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew just wrapped up airing on Dec. 18, but she has already agreed to take part in a spin-off series called Sober House in which her post-rehab activities will be monitored with those of other celebrities that appeared on the predecessor in a "controlled environment." Other celebs that are slated to live in the house are Mary Carey (not to be confused with Mariah), Andy Dick and Rodney King among others. Sober House will premiere on VH1 on Jan. 15, 2009.

On the music front, Nikki put out her debut album Unleashed in 2007 courtesy of Chenoa Records. She released "The Lie" as a single and even filmed a music video for the song.

Nikki also has a track featured on the Idol compilation American Christmas, which was released Nov. 25. She can be heard singing "Alone with the Christmas Lights."

Cook on 'Ellen'

The episode that was taped last week featuring David Cook on Ellen aired this morning. In his sit-down with Ellen, Cook chatted about his current activities and was treated to the now viral video of David Archuleta fangirls going into self-destruct mode following the announcement that Cook had won Idol. He then performed "Light On." Watch the performance below:

Following his performance, Cook was given the opportunity to dunk Dr. Drew Pinsky of Celebrity Rehab in a Sara Lee dunk tank. Although he didn't have the greatest aim, he was able to walk up to the target and press it, sending Dr. Drew into a world of wet. All in a day's work for Cook.
