After singing "The Star-Spangled Banner" at Sunday night's highly-anticipated match up between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants, Jordin Sparks continued to show off her charitable side in an appearance yesterday at the North Texas Super Bowl's Community Service Initiative for Kids, at which she performed two songs. Also in attendance was former President George W. Bush and his wife Laura. According to The Dallas Morning News, the initiative, known as SLANT 45, will:...encourage children to find service projects, submit details to SLANT 45 and create art representing lessons learned during their projects. Some of the artistic endeavors and work will be filmed for a feature-length movie that will be screened in North Texas during the week of the Super Bowl. The program was designed by Dallas-based Big Thought.
One of the songs Jordin performed in front of the crowd of roughly 600 was "Battlefield." The event took place at the brand new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Tex.

Jordin to perform at Commander-in-Chief's Inaugural Ball
Jordin Sparks has a busy next three days ahead of her. Not only will she be singing "The Star-Spangled Banner" at tomorrow's NFC Championship game between the Arizona Cardinals and the Philadelphia Eagles in Glendale, Ariz., but she will make an appearance at one of President-elect Barack Obama's inaugural balls on Tuesday.
Jordin's mom confirmed that she will in face be performing at the Commander-in-Chief Inaugural Ball, hosted by the president-elect, on Tuesday. The ball, which was conceived by President George W. Bush in 2005, will be broadcast live to American forces around the globe. George Lopez and Miss America Kirsten Haglund will also appear.
Jordin will not be the only Idol alum in attendance at one of the many inaugural bashes. It was announced late last year that Daughtry would be headlining the Congressional Youth Leadership Council's ball.
