These days it's almost impossible to turn on a talk show without seeing an Idol alum promoting their latest project. Last night was no exception, as two runners-up appeared on CNN to sing Christmas tunes for Larry King Live's "Holiday Music Spectacular."
David Archuleta performed "Pat-a-Pan" off his Christmas album Christmas From the Heart, while Katharine McPhee sang her version of "I'll Be Home For Christmas." Watch Both performances below:

Katharine McPhee kicked off Thanksgiving by performing in Macy's 83rd annual Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, which was broadcast live on NBC. Watch her perform "Had It All" on the Jimmy Dean float below:
Another famous alum turned up at the Dallas Cowboys / Oakland Raiders NFL football game, as Daughtry provided halftime entertainment during the Salvation Army Halftime Show. The band performed three songs including new single "Life After You." Watch the show below:
And then later in the night two alums made appearances on FOX's Kaleidescope ice show, which combines Christmas music with figure skating performances in an effort to raise awareness about cancer. The show, which was co-hosted by Idol friend and producer David Foster and Kristi Yamaguchi, also featured cancer survivor Olivia Newton John.
