Katharine McPhee's "Had It All" music video

Katharine McPhee's new music video for her latest single "Had It All" premiered a bit early on Y! Music as it was added to Yahoo!'s music site tonight rather than tomorrow, it's intended release date. Watch the video below:

The video shows off Katharine's beautiful body and (still taking time to get used to) blonde hairstyle. Although the video is nothing groundbreaking, it makes good use of contrasts like Kat in a black dress against a white background and the use of black and white and color shots. This is the latest product of Kat and her label, Verve Forecast, since the announcement that her sophomore effort Unbroken would be released on Jan. 5, 2010, delayed from its original drop date of Oct. 6.

Katharine McPhee talks about her upcoming music video shoot

Katharine McPhee sat down with Billy Johnson, Jr., of Yahoo! Music's Video Ga Ga blog, for a quick chat about her upcoming music video shoot and the "Get In The Act" sweepstakes that goes along with it. Watch the short interview below:

It seems that the studio in which Katharine spent the day was an Idol alum hot spot. Per the blog post from Friday:
I hung out with Miss McPhee at a West Los Angeles recording studio this week to talk about the video shoot. Coincidentially, current Idol winner Kris Allen and runner-up Adam Lambert happened to be in the same recording studio.
The "Get Into the Act" sweepstakes will run until Mon., June 22. Future music video star hopefuls can still enter at KatharineMcPhee.com.

Taylor Hicks' "What's Right Is Right" video premieres

Taylor Hicks' music video for his latest single, "What's Right Is Right," premiered late last night on Yahoo! Music. Watch the video below:

The video starts out promising, looking like a storyline will be built with Taylor roaming the streets of New York and an elderly couple in a coffee shop. But it takes a sharply different turn, and is filled with dizzying transitions, dark shadows and puzzling shots of a random girl. No offense to Taylor, but this video is a disaster.

The good news is the song is still pretty good.

"A Little Too Not Over You" premieres on Y! Music

David Archuleta's music video for second single "A Little Too Not Over You" premiered on Yahoo's "Y! Music" today. Watch the video below:

The video is a bit more interesting than the video for "Crush" and the use of photo stills in sequence is a relatively creative angle. Arch's awesome pad with the rain pouring down the windows is the highlight, though.

"A Little Too Not Over You" goes for adds on Jan. 6, 2009 according to All Access.
