Have you taken the 'Idol' survey?

It seems Ken Warwick & Co. have woken up and realized this season has been more than underwhelming, especially evidenced by last night's performance episode being the least-watched episode since July 23, 2002 (that's Season 1 for those of you keeping score). Therefore, Idol's research arm has unleashed a survey to do what else but get feedback on the show. Per a short description on a post at the show's website from Monday:
Let your voices be heard! You can share your opinions about American Idol and give us feedback in the brand new survey. We want to hear from you, so share your honest opinions.

So what are you waiting for? Go take the survey and give the producers a piece of your mind through honest feedback to help them realize where everything went all wrong. I especially had fun filling out the "judges' save" portion of the survey, not to mention evaluating the judges' performances. Something tells me a few of them won't be happy with the marks they earn.

It this survey too little too late? Go ahead and share the parts of the survey you had the most fun filling out.

Crystal Bowersox's fate still unknown

After another drama-filled day, it is still not known whether Crystal Bowersox will be healthy enough to perform on tonight's pTop 10 girls performance show. Rumors to both results are running rampant, and Ryan Seacrest literally justd weighed in on the topic:

RyanSeacrest I'm still in a run thru..uncertain. Planning for either way RT @CallofKJ: @RyanSeacrest Any news on Crystal Bowersox? #americanidol 7 minutes ago via UberTwitter
This comes after Ken Warwick sat down with Ryan to talk things over on his radio show this morning, in which he hinted at Crystal most likely not being able to compete and the possible ways to handle the situation:

If Crystal is not well enough to perform, it will be sad, but I don't see any fair outcome but to disqualify her. Hopefully it doesn't come to this.

Return of the crying girl

Who could forget Ashley Ferl, the infamous "crying girl" that shot to fame following her violent sobfests on American Idol's sixth season. According to LATimes.com blogger Deborah Netburn, her 15 minutes aren't quite up. Netburn has learned that Ashley will attend the Top 10 performance show thanks to a few tickets from executive producer Ken Warwick.

Since garnering instant recognition from her crying at the Top 11 performance show during Sanjaya Malakar's rendition of "You Really Got Me," Ashley has met dozens of former Idol contestants, and has cried at meeting every single one of them. She has even been parodied on Saturday Night Live. But she apparently won't be as excited to return this season as she was last year despite having five favorites. Why not?

“There’s no Sanjaya this season!”
Regardless, it would be a bit naiive to think audiences won't catch at least one tear being shed.
