Adam and Danny on 'Regis & Kelly'; 'Mike and Juliet'

This week has been abundant with talk show appearances by Idol alums from the most recent season, and Adam Lambert and Danny Gokey were still busy with televised performances and making small talk with TV personalities.

Both Danny and Adam appeared on Live with Regis and Kelly, as Adam performed "Mad World" on Wednesday's episode and Danny did "What Hurts the Most" on Thursday's episode below:

The two also sat down with the popular co-hosts to chat about the past season of Idol and their future plans. In his interview, which happened to be his first talk show appearance ever, Danny talked about the tough decision he had to make to audition following his wife's passing, and he addressed the Dancing with the Stars brouhaha that was caused by an off the cuff comment made earlier in the week.

In Adam's sit-down, he discussed his experience in theater at an early age and the fact that the first concert he attended was one of Paula Abdul's. He also discussed his styling per Kelly Ripa's request and his "glam rock" wings and got a bit of a shock when show supervisor Art Moore came out in Lambert getup including black hair and nail polish.

Adam also chatted with Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show Ellen last Friday, where he talked about his friendship with winner Kris Allen and the fact that he was wearing the underwear Ellen gave him on the Idol blue carpet. On Thursday, he spoke with Juliet Huddy of The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet before performing "Mad World" with accompaniment by Idol music director Michael Orland which can be watched below:

Danny also made it onto The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet yesterday, where he once again addressed the Dancing with the Stars talk and chatted about his foundation in honor of his wife before he performed "What Hurts the Most."

Keeping up with Chikezie

Chikezie has come a long way since being called "jacuzzi" by Simon on the seventh season of Idol. The 23-year-old fan-turned-fan favorite of the show is currently touring with fellow Idol alums Diana DeGarmo, Kimberley Locke and season mate David Hernandez in Michael Orland's production of "American Stars in Concert for the Holidays," which runs nationwide until Dec. 21.

The four of them appeared on CBS' Saturday edition of The Early Show on Nov. 29, where Chikezie performed a duet with Kimberley of "Last Christmas." He will next appear with them on The Morning Show with Mike & Juliet on Fri., Dec. 12.

Aside from the tour, Chikezie has stated he is working on a solo album that should be due out sometime in 2009. His debut single will be "I Have Dreams."

'Idol' Christmas tour hits Athens (Georgia, that is)

The four Idol alums that are currently taking part in Michael Orland's "American Stars in Concert for the Holidays" rolled into Athens, Ga., last night, where they are also performing tonight at the Classic Center.

The tour has already passed through Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Sugar Loaf, N.Y., El Paso, Tx., Easton, Pa. and Englewood, N.J. Below is a fan video of Diana DeGarmo, Kimberley Locke, Chikezie and David Hernandez performing in a medley of Christmas songs:

The tour has been generating positive reviews but has been pulling in lackluster crowds with the exception of last night, when there was nearly a sold-out house (most likely because the area is Diana's home turf).

The crew will make their next nationally televised appearance on The Morning Show with Mike & Juliet on Fri., Dec. 12.
