For the first time in a while, a new Idol-related single sees its release as an exclusive download at iTunes in the form of Katharine McPhee's "Had It All." The song, which was penned by Mitch Allan, David Hodges & Kara DioGuardi, is the first single off Katharine's upcoming release Unbroken, which is due out Tues., Oct. 6.
Also out today is Phil Stacey's sophomore album Into the Light, which is courtesy of Reunion Records. The album, which features the lead single "You're Not Shaken," is in the Contemporary Christian genre, a departure from his previous experiments in country music.

Katharine has been excitedly tweeting about the single's release over the past week, and informed fans that two webisodes would be released on her official music MySpace page on the same day. Unbroken can now be pre-ordered on Amazon as a CD/DVD deluxe package as well as a traditional CD.

'Idol' odds 'n ends: Diana's Aussie hacker gets 26 months
The following are Idol-related odds and ends that happened this week:
>Diana DeGarmo's Australian cyber-stalker of three years, Tanya Maree Quattrocchi, has finally been sentenced to prison for 26 months after she ignored her probation and returned to hacking the Season 3 runner-up's MySpace in addition to exhibiting other stalking behaviors. This is the second time Quattrocchi has been convicted of harassing Diana since 2006.
>David Cook visited NBC's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Monday to perform his latest single "Come Back to Me." Watch the performance below:
Following his performance, Cook briefly spoke with Fallon and one of his guests for the episode, The Amazing Kreskin, who said he could have told Cook he was going to win last year.
>Michael D. Ayers of Billboard wrote a preview article of Michael Johns' upcoming album Hold Back My Heart, due out June 23 courtesy of TRP Records. The article said the material on Michael's album will sound "more like the neo-soul of Ray LaMontagne and James Blunt than the polished mega-pop that "Idol" tends to be associated with."
>Josh Gracin posted a new vlog he did from his tour on his official music MySpace page, which he is currently in the midst of. The vlog documents what Josh and the guys in his band do before a show starts. Find out the answer below:

>Phil Stacey posted three new songs that will be on his forthcoming release on Reunion Records, Into the Light, which is due out Aug. 25. The new tracks are called "Inside Out," "You're Not Shaken" and "With All My Life." Phil addressed the musical direction of his upcoming album in a press release on his old Lyric Street Records Web site:
"There are songs on the project that will encourage and others that will challenge. Some that I’ve written and others that I heard and just had to record, including one by one of my favorite artists, Rich Mullins, called 'Hard to Get'," adds Stacey.
Brown Bannister, who previously produced Chris Sligh's debut solo album, is helming the Into the Light project.

Phil Stacey signs with Reunion
After parting ways with previous record label Lyric Street last November, Phil Stacey has announced via his official music MySpace blog that he has signed with Christian label Reunion Records, a sub-label of the Sony BMG umbrella. Per his blog entry, Phil said:
I am working on the record with producer Brown Bannister. He is amazing at what he does and we have some phenomenal material to work with.Phil also stated he is hoping for a summer release but there is nothing set in stone.
Phil's debut album sold roughly 36k copies before he left his former label. This is the second Idol re-signing in three days, coming on the heels of news that Katharine McPhee has signed with Verve Forecast.
