In the final round of IDOL LIVE's poll of the week champion series, David Archuleta reigned supreme as the preferred finalist of all time, just like he has done in the past.
After trouncing his peers in the runner-up competition four weeks ago, Arch once again demolishes the field here, earning 745 of the 820 votes cast, or 90%. The only other contender who finished with a respectable total was Carrie Underwood, who had 58 votes (7%).
The fact that six finalists failed to receive a single vote says a lot about the people who voted to get them into the finale round.
To all of you who have cast votes in the champion series rounds over the past few months, thank you very much for your efforts!

These results are very similar to the Billboard Best American Idol Ever poll this past May (David Archuleta 92%, Carrie Underwood 8%). I voted for David, but I congratulate Carrie's fans for turning out to support her.

David just has a way about him that you want to keep supporting him. It has a lot to do with how hard he works, how respectful and giving he is to his fans, his sweetness and humbleness, and his continued positive outlook on life. The fact that he is gorgeously hot looking and has those smooth, sexy vocals doesn't hurt either!
I'm not surprised he's won each time. He continues to earn respect for not only being talented but staying grounded and humble. He's all about being an all around genuine human being with incredible talent!

David has very dedicated go-getter fans. Some would say that other fans don't bother and if they did David wouldn't win, so I say, bring it on. Prove he wouldn't win! LOL....we like to promote David in all ways possible and let him know his fans are behind him always!
David is an all-around super good guy. I find that very attractive. Let's just hope those that need good, are following his lead...

I just wanna say Carrie is amazing, but there is something about David Archuleta's wonderful personality and connection with his fans that inspires intense loyalty. He also inspires us to give to charities and to be nicer human beings.
