Melinda Doolittle's video for "It's Your Love" premieres

Melinda Doolittle's music video for her first single, "It's Your Love," premiered on AOL Music earlier today. Watch the sixth season's second runner-up's maiden voyage into filming music videos below:

The video would be boring if it weren't for the fact that Melinda lights up the screen no matter what she's seen in. It's on the low-budget side but again, that is not what really matters to Melinda.

"My Life Would Suck Without You" lyrics released

The lyrics to Kelly Clarkson's highly anticipated single "My Life Would Suck Without You" were today revealed in an entry on AOL's PopEater blog. Read the lyrics below:

Guess this means you’re sorry
You’re standing at my door
Guess this means you take back
What you said before
Like how much you wanted
Anyone but me
Said you’d never come back
But here you are again

Cuz we belong together now
Forever united here somehow
You got a piece of me
And honestly
My life would suck without you

Maybe I was stupid for telling you goodbye
Maybe I was wrong for tryin’ to pick a fight
I know that I’ve got issues
But you’re pretty messed up too
Anyway, I found out I’m nothing without you

Cuz we belong together now
Forever united here somehow
You got a piece of me
And honestly
My life would suck without you

Being with you is so dysfunctional
I really shouldn’t miss you, but I can’t let go
Oh yeah

Cuz we belong together now
Forever united here somehow
You got a piece of me
And honestly
My life would suck without you
The song, which was written by the hit-making duo of Dr. Luke and Max Martin with the help of Claude Kelly, should leak any day now, and with the lyrics being posted on PopEater, that (along with AOL Music) would be a good place to check frequently over the next few days.

"My Life Would Suck Without You" officially hits radio airwaves on Mon., Jan. 19.

'Idol' odds 'n ends: Chris Daughtry on 'CSI: NY'

The following are Idol-related odds and ends that happened this week:

>Chris Daughtry made an appearance on the 100th episode of CSI: New York this past Wednesday. He played the part of "Mac Taylor" - one of many in fact - and had approximately 50 seconds of actual airtime. Not bad for a lead singer of a multi-platinum band.

>In a last minute switch, David Archuleta fan site FansofDavid.com is reporting Jive is releasing "A Little Too Not Over You" over previously announced "Touch My Hand" as Arch's second single. Although "Hand" is still listed as going for adds on Dec. 9 on FMQB.com, the "reliable source" on FOD claims "fans make a difference" in determining singles. What actually happens remains to be seen.

>Jordin Sparks is now featured on WetSeal.com with her new clothing line for the company. Jordin is depicted in five of her creations on the home page.

>Michael Johns yesterday performed in concert at the Ayala Mall in Alabang Town Center, The Philippines. Among the songs he performed were "Purple Rain" and "It's All Wrong But It's Alright."

>David Cook and Clay Aiken both did sessions for AOL Music this past week. Cook performed "Bar-ba-sol," "Declaration," "Heroes," "Lie" and "Light On," while Clay performed "Ashes," "Everything I Don't Need," "On My Way Here," "Something About Us" and "Where I Draw the Line," which is the #1 video on AOL Music at the moment.
