HITS estimates: 'Leave This Town' 99.2k

In its second week of release, Daughtry's sophomore album Leave This Town was still the top-billed album by an Idol alum according to HITS Daily Double's Top 50 building album sales chart.

Leave This Town dropped three spots to #3 for a weekly take of 99.2k, off 63% from its cume from the previous week. The more surprising Idol-related charting album, however, was Jordin Sparks' sophomore album Battlefield, which debuted at #10 with 48.4k copies, less than HDD predicted based on its revised sales forecast. If this position holds, Battlefield will come in smack dab on the #7 entry I called it would have, but well below the 65k first week total I predicted it would be able to nab.

Finalized figures courtesy of Billboard should be out this week, but if not, chart positions will definitely be posted later on in the week. Hopefully we get full numbers this week.
