'Idol' Hot 100: "Battlefield" #25 (7/25/09)

There was a game of musical chairs played on Billboard's Hot 100 chart among tracks by Idol alums for the chart week of July 25, as one single shot up in the rankings while another slipped further down in the rankings.

For the second week in a row, Jordin Sparks' "Battlefield" was the No. 1 Idol-related entry on the Hot 100, as it increased five spots to #25. Daughtry also so its current single, "No Surprise," jumped ahead #47-37.

This left Kelly Clarkson's "I Do Not Hook Up" continue its downward spiral, as it fell seven spots to #39 this week.
