Two semifinalists from Season 8 have been very busy in Nashville lately, where they have been collaborating with each other and honing their songwriting skills. Felciia Barton and Brent Keith Smith premiered their latest piece that they worked on with Ryan Ochsner, titled "Distant Dream," on Felicia's official YouTube channel:
Felicia really sounds like a cross between Stacie Orrico and Nelly Furtado here, and the song could have hit potential if recorded close to this rough, acoustic arrangement. Another song Felicia wrote with Ryan, "Shattered," was added to the channel last week.
