David Archuleta premieres new song at MDA telethon

Jerry Lee Lewis's annual Labor Day MDA telethon featured a bunch of Idol alums as usual, including Constantine Maroulis and Ace Young. David Archuleta also stopped by to premiere his new song "Things Are Gonna Get Better." Watch the performance below:



"Things Are Gonna Get Better" will be featured on Arch's forthcoming sophomore album The Other Side of Down, out Tues., Oct. 5. It can be pre-ordered at Amazon.com.

I loved this inspiring performance by David Archuleta. The amazing thing is that he unexpectedly had to sing "Things Are Gonna Get Better" using a demo tract rather than the original version. After a quick rehearsal, he stepped out on live television and nailed it! We would never have known about the obstacles he faced were it not for a report from a fan who attended the show.
