Kelly Clarkson on BBC's Radio 1

Kelly Clarkson just appeared on BBC's Radio 1 network where she was interviewed by of Annie of "Switch with Annie and Nick."

She talked about her love of snowboarding and her recent "Two Worlds, Two Voices" tour with Reba McEntire (she had to inform the host of who Reba was). She said she watches Idol from time to time but she misses it because she's always on tour.

She said All I Ever Wanted is different from her other albums in that like there are 70s influences and she confirmed that "Whyyawannabringmedown," which was originally recorded by Aranda, will be on the album. She said "whoever this chick is, she's hot!" about the album cover and said it was an industry joke that her cover was over-photoshopped because she wanted it to look like candy. She wrote six songs with Ryan Tedder for the album, with four songs making it onto the album.

She said "My Life Would Suck Without You" was a "twist" of what her usual "boy bashing" songs are. They played a clip of the single (the same clip that leaked on Amazon). Kelly confirmed the single will be available for radio to play beginning Tues., Jan. 13.

They also played a game called "to suck face or to not suck face" in which Kelly said she would "snog" Prince William and joked about needing security to escort her out after saying that.

The interview will probably be added to the show's Web site in the near future.

Kelly Clarkson to appear on BBC Radio 1 on Sunday

Despite the disheartening reports from Popjustice that Kelly Clarkson's single "My Life Would Suck Without You" is being embargoed from radio and will not leak before it premieres on U.S. radio one week from today (not Jan. 19 as previously reported), there is hope that we might hear a snippet of the song beforehand.

BBC Radio 1 today announced that Kelly will be a guest on the network's "Switch with Annie and Nick" on Sun., Jan. 11 at 7 p.m. (2 p.m. EST). What this means for any chances of hearing the single is unclear, but it may be worth checking in with if you have nothing to do on Sunday.
