Since you were most likely hanging out with family and friends yesterday and by now the tryptophan has most likely been drained from your system, take some time to catch up on some busy Idol appearances made on TV yesterday. Katharine McPhee kicked off Thanksgiving by performing in Macy's 83rd annual Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, which was broadcast live on NBC. Watch her perform "Had It All" on the Jimmy Dean float below:
Another famous alum turned up at the Dallas Cowboys / Oakland Raiders NFL football game, as Daughtry provided halftime entertainment during the Salvation Army Halftime Show. The band performed three songs including new single "Life After You." Watch the show below:
And then later in the night two alums made appearances on FOX's Kaleidescope ice show, which combines Christmas music with figure skating performances in an effort to raise awareness about cancer. The show, which was co-hosted by Idol friend and producer David Foster and Kristi Yamaguchi, also featured cancer survivor Olivia Newton John.
