HITS estimates: 'Leave This Town' 38.7k

And then there was one. After weeks of multiple Idol-related albums making it onto HITS Daily Double's Top 50 building album sales chart, only one album found a spot on the chart this week.

Daughtry's sophomore release Leave This Town pulled in an estimated 38.7k copies for the week, down 12% in sales and up two spots to #8. Surprisingly (or maybe not), Jordin Sparks saw her Battlefield fall below the threshold of reported album sales, which means it took in less than the 11.4k copies that Jason Mraz's We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things (the #50 album) sold.

Finalized figures courtesy of Billboard should hopefully be out this week unless, of course, everyone is on vacation. In that case, we're outta luck for the week.
