Ayla Brown "completely offended" by dad's opponent's attack ad

Ayla Brown, a semifinalist from Idol's fifth season, took a stand in defending her father, State Senator and U.S. Senate candidate Scott Brown, in a press conference yesterday in which she demanded her father's opponent, Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley, take a negative ad off the air. Watch video from a FOX 25 News piece on the press conference:

Ayla also made the front page of today's Boston Herald, with an article quoting her as saying:
“Martha Coakley’s new negative ad represents everything that discourages young women from getting involved in politics, and as a young woman, I’m completely offended by that,”
Scott Brown has been gaining on Coakley for the special election to fill the senate seat once held by the late Ted Kennedy, and the latest Rasmusen poll has the race as a dead heat. Ayla has taken to her official Twitter account to encourage people to get out and vote on Tues., Jan. 19.

Go Ayla!
