One new debut from an alum is not enough to liven up the sales week as seen on the latest edition of HITS Daily Double's Top 50 building album sales chart.
Carrie Underwood's Play On once again led the way among Idol alums with 22.3k copies, down 32% from the previous week. The newcomer was Katharine McPhee and her sophomore album Unbroken, which came in at #27 with 14.6k copies. These numbers are a bit lower than my more optimistic predictions from a week ago.
And then Adam Lambert's For Your Entertainment declined 33% to 11k copies, off one spot to #41.
