HITS estimates: 'Play On' #27 w/ 20.1k

And then there was one - just one Idol alum represented on the most recent edition of HITS Daily Double's Top 50 building album sales chart.

Carrie Underwood's venerable third studio effort Play On actually rose four spots to #27 on a universal wave of positive sales thanks to Easter Sunday, since the Easter Bunny seems to think putting CDs in kids' Easter baskets is a good idea. The album sold 20.1k copies, up 36%.
