'Idol' Hot 100: Adam Lambert's "Whataya Want From Me" #10 (5/1/10)

Whataya Want From MeAdam Lambert saw his current single "Whataya Want From Me" reach a new peak on Billboard's Hot 100 chart for the chart week of May 1.

The single rocketed #23-10 on the chart on the heels of a big Idol week, where Adam served as mentor and musical performer. This is, of course, Adam's first Top 10 hit in addition to being the first Top 10 single by a Season 8 alum.

Up next was Kris Allen's "Live Like We're Dying," which held steady at #30 for the second straight week. Daughtry saw its current release "Life After You" drop 10 spots to #61, which suggest it might depart the chart entirely sooner than later.

It was Carrie Underwood, however, who saw her single suffer the largest drop, as "Temporary Home" was off 18 spots to #73. And then there was Kelly Clarkson, whose "All I Ever Wanted" inched ahead three spots to #96, which could either be the beginning of a lengthy run or a brief appearance.
