The dog days of summer mean Idol-related albums will show little signs of life, as once again Carrie Underwood holds the title with Carnival Ride sitting at #36, down from #35 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart for the week of July 26. The only two other Idol alums represented on the chart include Daughtry, whose self-titled album rises #81-80, and Jordin Sparks, whose self-titled album drops six spots to #86. Unfortunately there are no sales number available for the week, although Carrie sold in the neighborhood of 12,623 according to HitsDailyDouble.com.
