'Daughtry' certified quadruple platinum

Daughtry, the debut album of the band by the same name, has been certified quadruple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for achieving 4 million copies sold since its Nov. 21, 2006 release.

The band, which is fronted by Season 5's fourth-place finalist Chris Daughtry, has had six successful singles go to radio, including the platinum "It's Not Over" and "Home," the near-platinum "Over You" and "Feels Like Tonight." Daughtry has also seen moderate success on the rock charts with "What I Want" and "Crashed."
