Keeping up with Constantine Maroulis

The greasy-haired Greek rock star may have only finished sixth on the fourth season of American Idol, but Constantine Maroulis has opted to take (almost) everything that has come his way, rather than sit on his hands and do nothing.

Although things did not necessarily work out for Constantine as frontman of the indie rock group Pray for the Soul of Betty, the 32-year-old did find a solo career and put out his debut album, Constantine, on Aug. 7, 2007. To date, it has only sold roughly 25,000 copies.

Earlier in 2007, Constantine appeared on the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful, which was his first crack at acting on television. He had previously starred on Broadway in The Wedding Singer for an eight-week run in Sept. 2006 and Off-Broadway in a six-week run in Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris in Jan. 2007.

Constantine is currently a co-host of FOX Reality Channel's American Idol Extra alongside Season 6 ninth-place finalist Gina Glocksen and JD Roberto.

His hair isn't and never has been greasy. Oh, and he is very talented, as you and others will soon see.

You call that gorgeous head of hair greasy?? Surely you jest! I'd kill to have hair like his!

Gee, is someone having a bad day? Nice writing skills... the fact of the matter is, Constantine DOES have a music and acting career... 3 years post-Idol... that includes starring on Broadway; a major daytime soap; numerous other TV credits (can you say Paula Deen? Don't Forget the Lyrics) etc... much more face time than you can say about anyone else other than Carrie Underwood that season.

Yes, Constantine is very dedicated to his craft. Unlike the seasons after his in which the top 10 pick up the label just because they are Top 10, he's having to work hard for what's being handed to them. I'm so proud of him that he has the type of work ethic that he has. As for the greasy hair, I was just curious which strand was greasy, because I don't and never have seen any and I've seen him perform many times in person.

His hair looks good to me,
and so does the rest of him.
He's hot & he has talent!

Hmmmmm, is it a requirement that you touch someone's hair before you call it "greasy" or something else totally gross? No? Well, why don't you stick to what you know?
Constantine is multi-talented and is having a relatively successful career, considering that he did not have the 19E power behind him. AND, his hair is beautiful in person - as I have experienced many times.

I have touched his hair. It is greasy. He is gross. And you have been cursed with the ATTACK OF THE GRANNIE FANNIES!

Thanks for the article about Constantine. You really have to see him in person sometime, for he puts on a really good show. And that silly thing about the hair? I've actually touched it and it is soft and shiny, not greasy... LOL!
