Clay impregnates a woman?

According to TMZ.com, Clay Aiken is going to be a father. But he did not go and do it the old fashioned way, his sperm was artificially inseminated into Jaymes Foster, a 50-year-old record producer and sister of David Foster that has worked on Clay's albums. Clay, 29, is said to be best friends with Foster.

So what exactly is this? A publicity stunt to jump start sales of his sinking album, On My Way Here, which has sold 127k copies to date? A way to dispel the gay rumors once and for all? Or just an honest gesture for a friend in need? No one knows, and Clay's reps aren't talking.
