These results arent all that surprising considering that a huge number of David Cook followers were would have been looking for information specifically about him during the time frame right after AI7 was completed. Therefore of course, the voting was more skewed in his direction and he got the most votes.
In a more balanced medium at a more randomly selected time, other Idol winners - two in particular - would likely be right at the top of the voting results.
