David Cook's Q&A with EW.com

David Cook sat down with Shirley Halperin of Entertainment Weekly last night following his victory, and had a lot of interesting to say. Some of the more interesting tidbits from the Q&A are listed below:

-He wanted to win, and thinks it's "disrespectful" for anyone to go into the competition wanting to finish at any other place other than winning.

-He appreciated Simon's apology but said he didn't think it was necessary because he never felt disrespected.

-He received positive feedback from Ed Roland of Collective Soul regarding his performance of "The World I Know."

-If he had to choose a ban to tour with right now, it would be the reunited Led Zeppelin.

-He laughed when Halperin brought up his maturity, and said "you guys don't see me when the cameras are off."

-He thought the boxing theme would be goofy, but he said it went over pretty well.
