HITS estimates: 'Play On' #20 w/ 21.6k

There were actually two Idol-related albums that made the cut on HITS Daily Double's Top 50 building album sales chart for the most recent edition of the chart.

Carrie Underwood's Play On was unsurprisingly the top album from the franchise with a three-spot jump to #20 as a result of a 14% sales decline. It sold 21.6k copies for the week. The only other album from an Idol alum to appear within the Top 50 was Adam Lambert's For Your Entertainment, which made it back onto the chart at #50 with 11.7k copies.
