'Idol' Hot 100: "We Are the World 25: For Haiti" #6 (3/6/10)

It was another week of ups and downs for tracks by Idol alums according to the latest edition of Billboard's Hot 100 chart for the chart week of March 6.

After a good debut last week, "We Are the World 25: For Haiti" slid four spots to #6 in its second outing. The track, which features tons of artists including Jennifer Hudson, Katharine McPhee and Jordin Sparks, looks to be on its way down the chart thanks to big drop-offs in both sales and airplay.

Kris Allen followed with his single "Live Like We're Dying," which was up two spots to #19, marking its biggest placement to date. Adam Lambert followed with "Whataya Want From Me," continuing its slow but steady climb with an advance of three spots to #28.

Kelly Clarkson's "Already Gone" was gone from the Top 40 thanks to a two-spot drop, while Daughtry's "Life After You" and Carrie Underwood's "Temporary Home" held steady at #46 and #54, respectively.
