'Idol' BB 200: 'For Your Entertainment' #21 (2/6/10)

There was a changing of the guards of sorts with the latest album by an Idol alum to represent the franchise on the Billboard Top 200 album sales chart for the chart week of Feb. 6.

This week it was Adam Lambert who saw his album For Your Entertainment jump #35-21 on the heels of a 60% boost courtesy of a performance on Oprah last week. The album sold 19.6k copies and has now sold 476.9k.

This means Carrie Underwood's Play On fell back a few spots (eight to be exact) to #24 after sliding 18% in sales to 17.7k copies for a 1.245 million total. Carrie's first album is still hanging on the lower part of the chart, as Some Hearts was down 7% to 2.9k copies, off #186-198, for a total of 6.925 million.

Up next was Daughtry's sophomore effort, Leave This Town, was down one spot to #54 after selling 8.6k copies. It was actually up 1% and boasts a 907.2k cume. The band's previous release was also up in both sales (6%) and chart rank (#184-175), posting a 3.2k copies for a 4.623 million total.

Kris Allen's Kris Allen took a 14% tumble to 5.3k copies for a 244.8k total. On the chart side it was off 17 spots to #101. And Kelly Clarkson's All I Ever Wanted declined 6% sales-wise to 3.2k copies for a 825.5k total. It was down 10 spots to #179.
