Digital sales roundup: "Crush" #16 (10/25/08)

Continuing to make Billboard's Hot Digital Songs chart a little boring was David Archuleta's "Crush," which led all Idol-related tracks on the chart for the week. "Crush" slipped 2% to 55.3k downloads for the week, holding steady at #16. It is nearing platinum status with 805.3k in the bag thus far.

Arch's counterpart, David Cook, was represented by his single "Light On," which witnessed a 42-spot surge thanks the availability to pre-order Cook's album on iTunes. The 33.6k downloads were up 123% from last week, putting its total at 188.7k.

Jordin Sparks followed with the venerable "One Step At a Time" at #38. Its sales take dipped 15% to 32.8k downloads, finally sending its total north of 900k. Jennifer Hudson's "Spotlight" slid six spots to #67 due to a 6% decrease in sales. It netted 18.4k downloads for the week and now stands at 239.9k total.
