Kat's "Wedlocked" a go, casts David Annabele

Katharine McPhee's new project Wedlocked will begin casting in Hawaii on Monday, following news that David Annabele of Brothers & Sisters fame will star as the lead male role. Read a snippet of the news from Tim Ryan's Reel Hawaii below:

It’s an early Valentine’s Day present for Hawaii FIlm Partners with the Hawaii-based company’s recent signing of David Annabelle to co star in Wedlocked, HFP’s first feature film. Wedlocked has been greenlit for a five-week Oahu shoot beginning mid March. Producers had hoped to begin filming this month but casting of the male lead took longer than expected, said Rann Watumull, producer and co founder of HFP. rannjpgAnnable, who appears in the ABC television series Brothers & Sisters, stars in the $6-million romantic comedy set in Chicago and Tahiti though all the film will be shot on Oahu…
Kat's other film project, The Storyteller, which she signed on for prior to signing on for Wedlocked, will begin filming following the latter's completion.

Filming is slated to begin in mid March on the island of Oahu.
