David Archuleta is the latest Idol alum to have predictions for his album included in HITS Daily Double's first-day sales predictions thanks to strong returns from yesterday.
Arch's Christmas album Christmas From the Heart is expected to pull in between 18-20k copies in its opening week, which would put him below current #1 Michael Buble and other openers like the Twilight: New Moon soundtrack and new albums from Mario and The Flaming Lips. This should hopefully put Arch within the Top 20, but maybe a few ticks out will be the most likely scenario.

those hdd estimates look pretty strong for a christmas release in october - hoping he hits it, and really, really hoping he exceeds it - the christmas cd is a keeper.
Really good for a Xmas CD in Oct. with no promo! I love the cd btw, great work by David.
