Poll of the week: "Light On" blinds fellow winners' singles

Among the debut singles from Idol winners, one outshone the others in IDOL LIVE's most recent edition of the poll of the week series.

David Cook's underrated single "Light On" easily trounced the seven other singles from fellow winners, including Kris Allen's brand new single "Live Like We're Dying." Cook's single took in 150 votes, or 67% of the 223 total votes cast. Kris' single garnered 26 votes (11%), good for second.

Kelly Clarkson's "Miss Independent" (19 votes, 8%) narrowly defeated Carrie Underwood's "Jesus, Take the Wheel" (17 votes, 7%), and two singles failed to receive a single vote. Ruben Studdard's "Sorry 2004" and Fantasia's "Truth Is" were scoreless in this round.

In this week's edition of the poll of the week, readers are asked which debut single from an Idol fourth-place finalist is their favorite. Voting will be open for exactly one week.
