Poll of the week: Kris Allen's cover art seen as best among winners

Of the eight Idol winners' debut album cover artwork, two were chosen as far and away the most popular in the latest edition of IDOL LIVE's poll of the week series.

Leading the charge with 160 votes was Kris Allen's cover art for his forthcoming debut album Kris Allen. With 48% of the total votes cast for the week, the artwork, which is pictured to the right, is definitely thought highly of by IDOL LIVE readers. Not far behind was David Cook's album David Cook, which saw its cover art receive 110 votes (33%).

Also seeing a strong showing was Carrie Underwood's debut album Some Hearts, which features Carrie standing in a golden wheat field wearing a black dress. The artwork reeled in 47 votes (14%).

None of the remaining entries by winners earned enough votes to be mentioned alongside the above albums.

In this week's edition of the poll of the week, readers are asked which song by an Idol alum to appear on a movie soundtrack is their favorite. Voting will be open for exactly one week.
