Comparing the Bo Bice that sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" at NASCAR's Pepsi 500 on Sunday with the Bo Bice that finished as runner-up to Carrie Underwood in 2005 is extremely startling. Bo wavered and slugged himself through the Anthem in Fontana, Calif., which suggested he was sick because there is no way his vocals could have depreciated so much since his time on Idol. Hopefully his vocals are able to recuperate from this lackluster performance because Bo is much better than this.

That was kind of rough, but maybe he just swallowed a bug or something. Bo sang later that weekend on the MDA telethon and his voice was in fine form.
