'Idol' BB 200: 'Carnival Ride' #41 (9/20/08)

All three Idol-related entries on the Billboard Top 200 album chart for the week of Sept. 20 once again showed little signs of life, as consistent chart champ Carrie Underwood led with Carnival Ride. The album, which yesterday received a nomination for Album of the Year for the 2008 CMA Awards, sold another 10.9k copies, which enabled it to inch up one spot to #41. Its total is now 2.32 million.

Next up was Daughtry, whose debut album slipped #78-80 and garnered 6.6k copies one week prior to its re-release. The 4% dip in sales officially puts it over the 4.2 million mark. Jordin Sparks once again brought up the rear with her self-titled album, which fell #87-89 with another 6.1k copies, putting it over the 900k mark.
