'Idol' BB 200: 'Daughtry' #36 (9/27/08)

Thanks to a quiet re-release, Daughtry was able to overtake Carrie Underwood on the Billboard Top 200 album chart for the week of Sept. 27. The band's self-titled album posted a 95% sales increase to 12.8k copies, good for a 44-spot jump to #36. The re-release helped the album reach 4.22 million in total sales.

Carrie's Carnival Ride followed at #45, dropping four spots thanks to a 4% dip in sales. The album's take of 10.5k copies for the week puts its total at 2.33 million. And rounding out Idol-related albums on the chart once again was Jordin Sparks, whose debut album added an additional 5.9k copies accompanied by a 12-spot drop to #101. Only 90.3k copies until the 1 million mark.
