'Idol' BB 200: 'Carnival Ride' #42 (9/13/08)

It was another uninspiring week on the Billboard Top 200 album chart for the week of Sept. 13 for Idol alums, as Carrie Underwood's Carnival Ride was the top entry among Idol-related albums with a 7-spot fall to #42. The album sold 10.8 k copies, down 3% from the week before for a total of 2.31 million. Daughtry stayed level with its self-titled album at #78 for the week. Its take of 6.9k just two weeks before a re-release hits shelves puts its total 36 copies below 4.2 million. Daughtry was followed by Jordin Sparks, whose self-titled album dropped #80-87 with a 9% dip in sales to 6.2k for the week. Its total now stands at 897.8k copies.
