Flashback: Chris Daughtry's "Hemorrhage"

Chris Daughtry was Idol's first serious mainstream rocker, so it came as no surprise when he delivered a show stopper on Top 24 night back in Season 5 with his rendition of Fuel's "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)." Remind yourselves of how Chris got to where he currently is in his career by watching the performance below:

Simon's glowing critique in which he called Chris "the standard" was the first of many that would continue to support his status as a front runner for the title. This one performance, which many consider to be in the Top 5 of the whole season, was so effective that it prompted the members of Fuel to offer Chris a spot in their band as lead singer. Fortunately he was smart enough to turn down the offer, and four times platinum later, Chris would surely agree.
