Simon Cowell last night sat down with Craig Ferguson and his elaborate mug on CBS' The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Things discussed included Simon's two parking spots at CBS Studios, the amount of gabbing that goes on between Paula and Kara this season, and whether or not Simon will return when his contract runs up. So it seems like Simon really is planning on leaving once his contract ends. As to whether the show would continue post-Cowell, that is anybody's guess. I personally think Piers Morgan could be tapped to fill in if the series is still sitting high atop the rest of the TV mountain. If not, it would probably be the right time to hang up the mics.
