Old news again on the Billboard Top 200 album chart for the week of Aug. 16, as Carrie Underwood unsurprisingly leads all Idol-related entries with Carnival Ride. The album netted an additional 10.8k copies, down only 9% to #48.
Jordin Sparks was next with her self-titled album, which shot up #108-69 thanks to a 22% increase. The album took in another 7.8k copies and now stands at 871k overall. And then there's Daughtry, who also rose, albeit a mere 4%. The band's total is now 4.17 million copies. Full chart positions courtesy of 2m over on Pulse are as follows:
