The Billboard Hot 100 chart finally saw a changing of the guard among top Idol-related tracks on the chart, as Jordin Sparks replaced herself in the top spot with "One Step At a Time" landing at #31 for the week of Aug. 16. "Time" unseated Jordin's duet of "No Air" with Chris Brown, which crumbled #28-37 for the week.
David Cook's "The Time of My Life" re-entered the Top 40, advancing #47-39, and Jennifer Hudson's "Spotlight" moved up seven spots to #89.
Meanwhile on the Bubbling Under chart, Carrie Underwood makes a quick leap up to #6 for the week, suggesting a debut on the main chart may only be a week away. Full chart positions courtesy of bks over on Pulse are posted below:
