Wowzers! After only two and a half days of voting, the IDOL LIVE champion poll has generated nearly 3,000 votes. This is leaps and bounds more participation than any other poll of the week has received. It is now a fight between David Archuleta and David Cook, and, there are either way more fans of each than IDOL LIVE expected, or the Cookies (and Archies) are busy cookie-cleaning. Below are the current results:

Sorry web hoster. NOT! I sort of started this. I'm a Cook warrier, now responsible for a fan war! A few posts and a call to arms on david-cook.org, and within hours we thought we had this nailed! But,we should have known the archuletafans.com folks would find out! Now... it's kind of a mission to see we can give your website more hits it's gotten all year!
LOL! It's all in good fun. I should have done this on my blog site, theflamingnose.com, which is also on blogger.com.
(Disclaimer: I maybe a Cook fanatic, but I do love Archie, and I've even directed people at d-c.org to that other poll that has Archie pitted against the evil Jonas Brothers so they can vote for him there!)

This poll is fixed in favor of Cook, for every Archie vote, Cook goes up by 10. The author of this blog is playing games to just garner more hits to the site...shame!
I'm not a computer person, but even I realized this is fixed! Oh well...Archie is going to "soar" into the music industry and be around a very enjoyable long time!!!

we can be Cookies or Word Nerds. We usually go by the latter now that we have a group. We call David Cook Cookie. If that makes sense. XD

This shouldn't make people angry. I love both to pieces. And I don't think Cook is a "fake superstar".
Archie and David are just two different kinds of superstar. Archie is a Pop King and David is a Rock God.

Um, reminder to those Archie fans who think this is fixed:
David Cook won in the SAME season as David Archuleta by 12 million votes and like 10 percentage points. Why would it be different here?
But I'll say it again: This is in good fun and given the love between both Davids, please try to keep this in the spirit in which it's intended!
This poll is a joke. Favorite idols but no Kelly, Carrie, Clay, or Jordin? And the Wordnerds have resorted to "robo-voting" and something called MOAB (mother of all bombs). This poll is completely meaningless at this point.
