'Idol' Hot 100 - "Crush" #2 (8/30/08)

After only a two-week stint on top of all Idol-related tracks, Jordin Sparks' "One Step At a Time" is surpassed by David Archuleta's "Crush," which rockets to #2 in its debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the week of Aug. 30. In the meantime, "Time" rises three spots to #21, while Jordin's duet with Chris Brown of "No Air" falls #35-39.

David Cook's "The Time of My Life" on the other hand jumps eight spots to #28, signaling that the single is not just on a fluke of a chart run. Carrie Underwood saw the biggest jump among all Idol alums on the chart, as her latest single "Just a Dream" zoomed ahead #98-60, while Jennifer Hudson's "Spotlight" also saw positive movement with a 16-spot increase to #67.
