Carrie Underwood's Carnival Ride leads all albums on the Billboard Top 200 album chart for the week of Aug. 23 by Idol alums once again despite an eight percent drop. The album shifted 10k copies for the week.
Down at the lower rungs of the chart, Daughtry actually pulled ahead of Jordin Sparks, as the band's album fell #78-83 while moving an additional 7k copies, while Jordin plunged #69-93 with another 6.5k copies. Totals stand at 4.179 million and 878k copies, respectively.
