'Idol' BB 200: 'David Cook' #16 (1/10/09)

Although Christmas has come and gone, there was still a great representation of albums by Idol alums on the Billboard Top 200 for the week of Jan. 10.

David Cook kicked things off at #16, down six spots from the previous week, with his self-titled album's take of 30.6k. It was down 70% from the previous week but it has now surmounted 842.3k copies.

Next up was David Archuleta, whose David Archuleta slid 75% with an 18-spot fall to #51 with 14.2k copies. The album's total now stands at 580.2k. Carrie Underwood's Carnival Ride followed at #74, down 69% from the previous week when it was at #54. It sold 9.8k copies for the week and hos a total take of 2.594 million.

Jennifer Hudson's self-titled album fell #70-89, or 64%, to 8.4k copies for a total of 555.2k. David Foster's CD/DVD combo Hit Man followed at #96, down five spots from the previous week, to 7.7k. The album has sold 119.3k despite falling 51%.

Daughtry's tired but true debut album fell 13 spots to #110 with 6.5k copies, down 60%. Its total of 4.353 million copies is still the largest total on the chart. Kellie Pickler's sophomore album almost fell off the chart, dropping #129-199 (72%) to 3.6k copies for the week. It has totaled 157.1k.
